In South Australia the fee to be paid to the Supreme Court on lodgement of Probate documents is tiered depending on the amount of the estate. The current fees are as follows:
$957 for estates with a gross value of $200,000 or less;
$1,914 for estates with a gross value of more than $200,000 but less than or equal to $500,000;
$2,549 for estates with a gross value of more than $500,000 but less than or equal to $1 million;
$3,826 for estates with a gross value of more than $1 million.
